I’m Sarah Cho, and I started Learning Tree Home Daycare in 2022 with a simple but powerful mission: to create a nurturing, dependable space where children feel truly at home while their parents are at work.
Growing up within a blend of cultures shaped my deep appreciation for empathy, identity, and belonging. I studied education policy and Asian humanities at UCLA, later deepening my commitment to child advocacy through research on child exploitation in Southeast Asia during law school.
But it wasn’t until I became a working mom myself that the idea for Learning Tree truly came to life. Like so many parents, I struggled to find care that felt both safe and loving—where my child wasn’t just watched, but genuinely known and nurtured.
Learning Tree was born from that experience. Here, we blend thoughtful learning with warmth, structure with flexibility, and care with culture. It’s more than childcare—it’s a place where young children grow with confidence, joy, and compassion.
