My name is Sarah Cho, and I founded Learning Tree Home Daycare in 2022 with a mission close to my heart: to create a nurturing, dependable space where children feel truly at home while their parents are at work. My journey began when I immigrated to the U.S. at the age of ten. I grew up navigating two cultures—honoring my roots while embracing the opportunities this country offered. I later attended UCLA, where I majored in International Development Studies, focusing on education policy, and earned a second degree in Asian Humanities, deepening my understanding of diverse cultural values and family dynamics. While studying law and researching child exploitation in Southeast Asia, I discovered my true calling: advocating for the well-being of children. That connection stayed with me long after law school. As a full-time working mom myself, I experienced firsthand the stress of finding trustworthy, loving care for my infant and toddler. That’s when Learning Tree Home Daycare was born—from both a mother’s heart and an advocate’s mind.
